Concut is a Christchurch based, family owned business that was established in 1970.
Having since expanded to being one of the largest concrete cutting companies in New Zealand with a staff of over 40 we can tackle any project throughout the south island and have previously completed work off shore.
After the Canterbury earthquakes in 2011 the company had to expand at short notice to meet the requirements of the rebuild by doubling our staff and extensively updating equipment including purchase of equipment that has never been used in Canterbury previously. This equipment is still used on a regular basis with several operators now working in the Kaikoura regions after their natural disaster.
We are Site Safe members and are in The New Zealand Concrete Sawing And Drilling Association
We have the equipment and experience to work in almost any environment inside or out, confined space or open area - Electric and hydraulic equipment allow for fume-less emission for sensitive work sites. We can work 24 hours a day. 7 days a week with minimal disruption to ongoing business.

CONCRETE CUTTING / DRILLING
All your concrete cutting and drilling needs. See below for a list of all we do
We have 1.5T through to 5T excavators complete with rock breakers and augers, Bobcat and a loader capable of any job.
We also do concrete scanning, slurry control and prioritise our health and safety.
With our vast array of machines we can complete internal demolition of the cut structures right through to house demolition, car parks, concrete and asphalt driveways, hill work, site works, foundations, land formation, confined space excavation, auger holes and general cartage including shingle supplies.
CONCRETE CUTTING / DRILLING:
BARSAW CUTTING - Hand held plunge cutting hydraulically driven for fume-less work inside buildings and confined spaces. Ideal to eliminate over cuts. Capable of cutting 600mm deep.
RINGSAW CUTTING - Hydraulic or petrol driven. Hand saw that is capable of cutting 300mm deep.
WIRE SAWING - The most efficient way to remove large concrete constructions such as foundations and bridges or to cut thick walls and openings with exact corners - wireless remote cutting.
WALL SAWING - For cutting reinforced concrete, brick and other building materials, up to 550mm deep in thickness.
HAND HELD SAWING - Petrol, hydraulic and electric up to 260mm deep inside or outside. These saws are for cutting chases for electrical wiring, plumbing and tele services, forming new window and door openings and for demolition of walls and floors.
DIAMOND DRILLING - On walls and floors up to 600mm diameter to 18m deep. We can also dry drill.
HAND HELD CONCRETE CRUSHER - Specially designed for inside demolition, quiet with no dust or vibrations permitting use even inside occupied buildings.
CONCRETE BURSTING - A vibration free machine for removing redundant reinforced concrete structures, foundation, pillars, plinths, walls etc.
GROUND SAWING - Walk behind machine cuts up to 550mm deep. We also have elctric saws for cutting inside with no fumes. For difficult access we have trolley mounted saws.
SOFF CUTTING - A unique patented system for early entry concrete sawing. This technology enables concrete to be cut within the first one or two hours of finishing before final set.
DECORATIVE CUTTING - Where we cut your concrete to give it a tiled look.
CONCRETE SCANNING - we offer the service of scanning for reinforcing. We have a Hilti scanner that allows us to scan three dimensional and to a greater depth then most other scanners. In more and more cases the concrete is required to be scanned in advance so the structural integrity is not adversely effected when drilled or cut.
SLURRY CONTROL - We have our own slurry control truck that we use to clean up mess quicker and more efficient. This is used on big jobs and to keep slurry waste from going into any drains or roads.
HEALTH AND SAFETY - We have John Taylor who takes pride in the health and safety sector of Concut. As health and safety is becoming more and more strict we make sure to abide by any rules and regulations. We prioritise the safety and well being of our staff and Daryl makes sure our guys have what ever they need to be safe whilst working on any sites. In addition, all of our operators have completed New Zealand Concrete Cutting and Drilling Associations health and safety course as well as having their Site Safe passes. We also have employees who have their first aid and working at heights and confined space courses completed.
